What Families Have Told Us
"My partner and I came to Nakara with a fairly straightforward cohabitation situation, but the intake process made us think through aspects we had not considered at all. The separate meetings were a good idea — it gave each of us room to raise things we might have hesitated to say together. The resulting agreement felt balanced and clear."

"We engaged Nakara Advocates for family court representation. The court process is not straightforward, and the advocate handling our matter explained every stage clearly before it happened. I never felt left in the dark. It was handled professionally from filing to the final hearing."
Siriporn W.

"The process for our family's cross-generational planning was longer than I initially expected — though looking back, the time was well spent. Three of us took part in the intake sessions, and the advocate did a good job of managing the different views in the room. The final documents addressed things we had not thought to raise ourselves."
Thanyarat K.
Nakhon Ratchasima · April 2025
"We came to Nakara for a cohabitation agreement and were impressed by how seriously they took the drafting process. It is not a complicated document on the face of it, but the advocate raised several points about how circumstances might change over time and suggested language to address those possibilities. We felt the agreement was thought through properly."

"The court representation service was professional. Scheduling around court dates took patience on our part, but the advocate coordinated everything and we were never caught unprepared. The fees were clearly explained upfront, which made the whole thing less stressful."

"Our family engaged Nakara for guardianship arrangements for my father. The engagement took several months and involved several family members with different perspectives. The advocate handled this with patience and kept everyone informed. The arrangements we reached are ones the whole family is comfortable with."

How We Have Helped Families
The Situation
An unmarried couple had been cohabiting for four years and jointly owned a vehicle and household savings. They wanted a written arrangement that would clarify what each person was entitled to if the relationship ended, without making the process feel adversarial.
Our Approach
We conducted separate intake consultations with each party, then a joint session to discuss agreed terms. A first draft was circulated and reviewed over two weeks, with both parties present at the final signing meeting. The process took approximately six weeks from first consultation to signed agreement.
The Outcome
Both parties signed a cohabitation agreement covering their respective property contributions, the vehicle, joint savings, and arrangements for separation. Each party left the process feeling the agreement was fair and clearly worded.
"The separate meetings were a good idea — it gave each of us room to raise things we might have hesitated to say together."
The Situation
A family needed representation in a family court matter that involved custody arrangements following the parents' separation. The procedural schedule was uncertain and the client had not previously engaged with family court proceedings.
Our Approach
We prepared all written submissions, attended each of four procedural hearings, and coordinated directly with court officers throughout. Before each hearing, we briefed the client on what to expect. The matter progressed over approximately five months.
The Outcome
The substantive hearing concluded with a custody arrangement entered by the court. The client was well-prepared for each stage and understood the court's reasoning when the decision was issued.
"I never felt left in the dark. It was handled professionally from filing to the final hearing."
The Situation
A family with three adult children and an elderly parent wished to put formal guardianship and estate arrangements in place. Several family members held different views on how the family's assets should be managed and eventually distributed.
Our Approach
We held individual intake sessions with each adult family member, then a series of joint review sessions. The engagement spanned approximately four months. We prepared guardianship documentation, a succession plan, and a family decision-making protocol to govern ongoing management decisions.
The Outcome
The family reached agreement on all major points and signed the relevant documents. The guardianship arrangement was registered with the appropriate authority. The family has since returned for a review of the succession documents as circumstances have developed.
"The arrangements we reached are ones the whole family is comfortable with."
